I like you MinuteMaskot
this is fun idea and "must have" for Pocket PC serious entertainment.
I think this is close to MicrosoftAgent technology (if you know it)
which give similar mascot (character)on dekstop incl. text-to-speech engine

I'm not deep experienced in C++ programming.
But I'm very well experienced in user's interface, interactions,
psychological
and I was alpha and beta tester of MSAgent 2 years ago.
Of course I could debugging your files soon and make my own solution,
but I don't want to waste my time...
if we can do it together I think.
I'm also a long working with Poser (3D character animation software) and
started programming PocketPC interfaces since two months.

MinuteMascot could be a good popular application
if:
1. it change its look: not only Japan dools but more interrnational
characters like Clara (Tomb), some Alien, maybe some character from Master
of Rings (great movie start on December)
2. it change its interface: forget about "moving" the images over screen -
it's not for user but only for scripter
but interface could take indivisual user name and something more
3. like loading a collection of images it can load a collection of sounds,
and use it this same way like images
4. it gives skinning possibility for people with a full-features English
documentation (I saw the one in some French server but this is not
full-features)

I could give you a few request for change inside your application
executives,
and I can make the rest: scripts, images, sounds. I can also make a rich
Setup program
which give users possibility to install application on any location within
Pocket PC.

I ask you and offer:
1. let's make together commercial version
2. you program C++ general application
3. I program scripts, images, sounds, documentation in English
4. I organize selling commercial version (and shorter demo) on-line
world-wide
5. we share profits 50-50 %

we will sign it together and start-up up the working!
